Racin For Boobs Makes All Things Pink in Team Demolition Derby Finale September 26

(JOLIET, ILLINOIS) With the 2015 season quickly coming to a close at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway, fans still have one more chance to witness the ultra-exciting Team Demolition Derby on Saturday evening, September 26. Round Five of Team Demolition Derby will take place tomorrow night and will serve has the final event of 2015 at the state-of-the-art Joliet, Illinois facility. Our theme for the finale will once again be “Racin For Boobs” and we will be making ALL THINGS PINK!

“I am very passionate about racing, pink, and giving,” quoted promoter Sherri Heckenast leading up to the Team Demo finale. “This event allows me to do all of that, so it is a very rewarding program for me. Our donations will be forwarded to the Joliet chapter of Pink Heals, so be sure to sign the pink Fire Truck at some point during the day!”

In addition to crowning our Team Demo Champion following their fifth and final event on Saturday, two ladies teams – Double D Destroyers and High Risk – will also compete for the Ladies Team Demo Championship for 2015! The festivities will start at the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway with a FREE pre-race party at 4:00pm when the parking lot opens. Smashin for Cash (Banging for Boobs) also starts at 4:00pm with all proceeds donated for the cause. Race time will be 7:15pm sharp and we will start with a Balloon Release Ceremony honoring those that have fallen to breast cancer.

A limited supply of “Racin For Boobs” merchandise, along with all of our other great apparel, will be available for purchase in the Team Demolition Association vending area.

Race fans will also be allowed to enter the track (pit area) after the final race of the evening. You can do so in turn four – through the gate – at the NORTH end of the grandstands. All ages are welcome and the pits will remain open for one hour following the final event.

Other highlights of the evening will include a huge fireworks extravaganza and the addition of the MAVTV television cameras. Our “Racin For Boobs” program will be a televised event for a Lucas Oil on the Edge show, which will be broadcast to over 30 million viewers. Adult grandstand tickets are $22.00 and pit passes are available for $25.00. Promoter Sherri Heckenast and her staff are excited to announce that Team Demolition Association (TDA) will be returning to the Dirt Oval at Route 66 Raceway next year and several new events will be added to the race schedule.
