Monster Trucks smash into Summer at Route 66

The biggest monster truck event in Illinois is back at the Dirt Oval in Joliet! Eight monster trucks will battle in Best Trick, Racing, and Freestyle competitions showcasing their speed, style, and destruction throughout the massive outdoor track! The monster truck lineup includes a rare appearance by all four TEAM SCREAM trucks! Jim, Jon, and Chris Koehler and Joe “Freestyle” Foley are coming to rock Route 66! See one of the greatest ever and three rising stars of monster truck racing. Plus, the wild acrobats of Freestyle Motocross riders soaring through the sky!

Event Time:

  • Parking & gates open at 4:00pm
  • FREE Pre-race party 4:00 – 6:00pm
  • Action begins 7:00pm

Advanced Ticket Prices:

  • Adult general admission $25
  • Juniors (age 3 – 12) $15
  • Reserved seats (sec. 401 and 101) all ages $30
  • Children 2-years-old & under are free

Monster Truck Lineup for Joliet

In addition to the entire Team Scream fleet, DCT Powersports brings the Dirt Crew dump truck, celebrating a “Decade of Dirt” in 2025, along with their newest identity causing chaos: Cyber Attack! Completing the 8-truck lineup are Send-It Motorsports’ Frostbite and Haymaker. Both Kylie and Brett are in their first few years of competition and making statements on the 2025 All-Star Monster Truck Tour. They’ll need to bear down and slug it out with six other monsters on the wide-open Dirt Oval monster truck track!

No extra cost! It is included with kids admission ticket to Monster Mayhem! Use it during the pre-show party, intermission, or to burn off energy at a moment’s notice. (Weather permitting) it’ll be there to use from the time the gates open at 4:00 until conclusion of monster truck Freestyle.
 

Coloring Contest

Create and color your own monster truck design! Open to ages 5 – 13, divided into three groups (5-7 | 8-10 | 11-13), with $100 prize to the winner of each group. Overall winner to be determined by fan vote! The Grand Champion will receive a Dirt Oval 66 gift basket, Monster Mayhem t-shirt, & meet-n-greet with their favorite driver!
