Any type of battery-powered Power Wheels / Kid Trax is allowed for the race as long as it has a sit-in compartment. No 4-wheelers or motorcycle-style vehicles.
For 2024, the kids will compete in a 5 lap RACE – not a balloon popping demo derby as in previous years.
- Ages 3 – 10 may participate and will be split into two groups: ages 3-5 & 6-10.
- Helmets must be worn. Bicycle helmets are ok.
- 6 volt or 12 volt batteries are allowed. Maximum of 24v total power.
- Stock battery can be replaced with a power tool / lawn mower battery, but cannot be mounted in the passenger seat. Battery must be secured and sealed away from the child.
- Maximum of 2 children per vehicle (1 driver, 1 passenger in the stock seat positions).
- Doors and tailgates should be zip-tied or secured with other means so they remain shut during the race.
- Altering the vehicle’s height or adding accessories to impede other racers is not allowed.
- Covering tires in duct tape to prevent damage is allowed.
- Halloween themed decorations encouraged! The Best Decorated / Designed Power Wheels in each age group win a trophy!
Online registration is mandatory. Day-of entries not accepted.
All racers will receive a participation award after their race.
Maximum of 2 parent/guardians per-child allowed on the track.
